Annaliese Magee, has worked as a veterinary nurse for 16 years and has written four books on varying subjects about veterinary nursing. She has trained many nurses and cared for countless pets (both healthy and those requiring surgery and hospital care). She has worked in the industry for all of this period until opening Fuchsia in October 2008. Annaliese said, "I wanted to bring my professional training into an accessible, friendly place where pet owners felt they could pop in and ask a question, without being presented with a bill. Regular visitors to Fuchsia have since become friends, who know how best to care for their pets with the information I have given them".
